The Slant on Laugh Out Loud Jokes for Kids Book by Rob Elliott

My husband and I recently purchased this book for our 7-year-old daughter who loves to tell jokes. She picks up this book at least once a day which is almost a miracle considering she doesn't like to read very much. The book has also sharpened her memorization skills since she likes to go to school and tell the jokes.

The paperback is 126 pages of clean, silly jokes such as:

Q:  When do you stop on green and go on red?
A:  When you are eating a watermelon.

Q:  What kind of hats do you wear on your legs?
                         A:   Knee caps.

Q:  What do sea monsters eat?
                         A:   Fish and ships.

There are 73 pages of the Q&A jokes (5-6 per page), 47 pages of knock-knock jokes (3-4 per page), 3 pages of tongue twisters, and a few questions referring to oxymorons.

I do recommend this book if you have a elementary-aged child who enjoys telling jokes and making others laugh. A few of the jokes will probably even have you chuckling :)
